Energy &
Infrastructure
From power generation to grid systems and industrial assets.
Scope of Activity
Subsaharan Group develops projects across the full infrastructure spectrum: utility-scale solar PV, grid-connected power generation, industrial zone electrification, transmission and distribution systems, and hybrid energy storage. We operate as originating developer — identifying sites, securing government concessions, and structuring each project from pre-feasibility through financial close.
SPV and IPP Development
Each project is housed in a dedicated Special Purpose Vehicle. We structure Independent Power Producer agreements, negotiate Power Purchase Agreements with national utilities, and coordinate technical due diligence with EPC partners. Our structuring follows PPP frameworks where applicable.
Capabilities
Utility-Scale Solar PV
Ground-mounted photovoltaic installations from 10 MWp to 200+ MWp, designed for grid injection or industrial off-take.
Grid & Transmission
Substation development, transmission line coordination, and grid interconnection structuring in partnership with national utilities.
Industrial Infrastructure
Dedicated power and utility solutions for Special Economic Zones, industrial parks, and large-scale manufacturing and logistics facilities.
Energy Storage (BESS)
Battery Energy Storage Systems integrated with renewable generation for grid stability and peak demand management.
"We do not compete with EPC contractors. We do not compete with investors. We originate the project, structure the transaction, select the partners, and coordinate execution. This is our function."
